ANNUAL JUNE RECOGNITION BRUNCH
Historically the June Brunch has been this section’s main fund-raiser. The committee is responsible for the coordination of all activities needed to make the brunch a success. This includes, but is not limited to, ticket sales, publicity, souvenir booklet, securing the speaker, facility, and menu. Awards for community service activities are given at that time.

CHEER
This committee is responsible for keeping the Section informed of illness, bereavement, and members recovering from illness, whether hospital stays or home care. Cards are sent and any NCNW member with knowledge of such persons should immediately inform the chairman or a committee member.

TELEPHONE COMMITTEE
This committee is an important part of the section’s communication process. It has the responsibility to call the membership and related information about up-coming meetings, event, and any information deemed vital to the organization.

MEMBERSHIP
This committee is responsible for inviting ladies to join NCNW. The fiscal year is September 1 to August 31, and dues are $35.00 per year ($25.00 goes to national headquarters, $10.00 is membership to the Section with $2.00 of that going into the Cheer Fund). Committee members should always be courteous and ready to promote NCNW. The committee works closely with the Second Vice President, who is the membership chairman.
BLACK EXPO
This committee is responsible for setting up the NCNW Booth and / or volunteering to man the booth during the three-day interval that the Expo is open. Volunteers are needed between the hours of 10:00am – 9:00pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. There will be literature and information to be passed out at that time.

PUBLICITY
This committee is responsible for keeping NCNW forever in the public eye. Announcements regarding all major events of the Section are to be publicized well in advance (one – two weeks). The articles should be well written or typed with a copy given to the president before send to the media. The committee chairman should always pay attention to the wording of all announcements so as not to embarrass our organization. Other committees needing this committee to make announcements should contact the chairman as soon as information is confirmed regarding the event.

YOUTH
This committee will develop a youth group of teenage girls between the ages of 14 – 18. This group will be governed by the Indianapolis Section and meet separately from the parent organization. Meeting date is the third Tuesday of each month from 6:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. At a date designated by the President and First Vice President, time will be given for the youth to present themselves to the Section.
